Sweet 16 Has a Lot of Star Power and Some Really Good Teams

hen The NCAA Tournament began Las Vegas had Duke listed as the gambling favorite mainly because they are a good team but also because they had what many felt was a soft bracket that gave them a cake walk to the Elite Eight.  South Carolina had something to say about that by totally dominating the Blue Devils in the second half of their game and busting many brackets which are the lifeblood of the NCAA Tournament.  The first weekend of the tournament is about the upset and the surprise teams who come out of nowhere to shock the world and upset the traditional powers but weekend number two is about great matchups and better basketball.

SEC (3) South Carolina, Kentucky, Florida

BIG 10 (3) Purdue, Michigan, Wisconsin

BIG 12 (3) Baylor, Kansas, West Virginia

BIG EAST (2) Xavier, Butler

WEST COAST (1) Gonzaga

PAC 10 (3) UCLA, Oregon, Arizona

ACC (1) North Carolina

North Carolina was my pick when the tournament began and they are still alive while Xavier and Wisconsin are the two highest remaining seeds still alive.  Below is the schedule for the 2nd weekend of the tournament.
